For professional, high standard training, from an experienced instructor and working driver. Our aim is to make your training as relaxed and enjoyable as possible with a pass certificate at the end of the course.

All enquiries are confidential and with no obligation.

Our no obligation initial assessment allows you to try out the training vehicle & meet your instructor. You will need a category C provisional licence before your assessment. A small fee is charged for the assessment which is to cover costs. This would be deducted from the course fees should you decide to go ahead (currently £20.00)

Whilst in many cases this will be your first experience of a larger vehicle this is not a test, only an assessment, during which your instructor will give you an honest

opinion of the necessary time required to reach a pass standard.

For the nervous, you may bring a friend to help you relax, but please advise us prior to arriving at the lorry.

MacLeod training uses draw- bar combinations, which gives you the advantage of driving the same vehicle for your cat.C and C+E. This reduces the stress of learning a new vehicle for your artic training. However the licence is the same. The advantages of draw-bar combos have long been recognized

as the way forward by livestock carriers and horse transport companies as giving maximum flexibility with minimum cost (ONE LORRY NOT TWO)

It is advisable, prior to starting your course to read up on the current highway code. This is updated fairly regularly and you may want to refresh your knowledge.

Your instructor has many years practical driving and will give you all the benefits of his experience.
